So many beautiful choices . . .
A private room all her own . . .
To play dress up . . .
to twirl . . .
No peeks here of the actual dress that was chosen. The dress that felt just right as soon as she put it on. That lit up her already sparkling eyes.
A toast to celebrate with the maid of honor. The friend who flew up just especially for a long weekend of dress shopping and happy wedding planning.

Yay! Congrats on finding the one. What a lovely journey.
ReplyDeleteLovely teaser, Deborah! It must feel wonderful to check the dress off the looooong wedding to-do list. Looking forward to seeing your daughter's dress in the big wedding reveal.
ReplyDeleteThis just made me smile :)

ReplyDeleteI don't know if I ever told you, but our youngest son works on the shoots to the Say Yes to the Dress show. Often when he's working out of town he's in Atlanta working on it!
How utterly beautiful and how exciting!
ReplyDeleteLove this post!
All my heart,
Deborah xo
Such a precious time. I remember doing this with my own mother, it was just the two of us. Love your sepia toned photos. I'm so glad your daughter knew it was "the one".

Oh, such happy moments to savour with your daughter! I look forward to seeing her dress as well as her mama's! I love the sepia tones of your photos. Thanks for sharing this with us, Deborah. Happy Valentine's Day, my friend!

Awww Deborah, my friend, what moments to cherish with you sweet Jessica! Thanks for sharing a little bit with us of the happy bridal dress shopping. The big day will be here before you know it! ❤️
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Deborah. She'll be a lovely bride :)
ReplyDeleteThe only advice I could think of, when I read your post a couple back was, just be there for her. When all else fails and the bridesmaids aren't paying attention before and after the ceremony, be the one that does. I'm sure her friends are wonderful, but there's nothing like mom to make things right when things go wrong. Also, know when to back off ;) It's a difficult trick lol

rue
Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe will be an absolutely stunning bride.
Savor. Every. Second.

ReplyDeleteWill be following everything with much joy.
Cheers, M-T
Hello Dear, I just loved this post, I hope it was okay to Pin a photo! I did one of the first photo! Did you decide on wearing the dress you got?
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines Day...
Love, Roxy
Beautiful post! I love the sepia tone of them. That first pic reminds me of my own time in a wedding dress shop, so many years ago, and looking through them all for that one dress I knew was for me. What a special time!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. Such an exciting time.
