These pink roses are just lovely, and what a soft and pretty color. And I really like the silver tea set. It reminds me of the one my mom used to have, and I would sometimes clean it for her with polish. So glad I stopped by to see your sweet post.

~SheriRed Rose Alleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02685747099912989862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7092223141967556234.post-6872158306121864962015-04-29T19:26:57.067-04:002015-04-29T19:26:57.067-04:00Such pretty roses -- your hubby is a dear :)Such pretty roses -- your hubby is a dear :)M.K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09205619221345704689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7092223141967556234.post-74326942504092748632015-04-27T22:46:00.391-04:002015-04-27T22:46:00.391-04:00Hi Deborah,

They were in a relative's family, and even as a child I was fascinated by them. Even the relative seemed never to know just where they'd came from, nor whose they were originally. That relative would be 104 if she were still living. My spoons are more the size of regular teaspoons, as I recall, and I've used them before when serving tea for one guest (plus me). They're engraved with Mc (which is a family last name initial-compound). Maybe I'll dig out mine and take their very tarnished pictures. If I do, I'll put the result on my "It's Only Write" blog... I'd love to know more about such spoons!Nancy Shumanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05584199691076992017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7092223141967556234.post-9886607271930346392015-04-22T14:44:33.962-04:002015-04-22T14:44:33.962-04:00I agree with Deb above - the gifts are made for ea...I agree with Deb above - the gifts are made for each other.GretchenJoannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13641677400029070452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7092223141967556234.post-65598663520866761532015-04-22T11:28:21.918-04:002015-04-22T11:28:21.918-04:00Both the roses and tea set are just gorgeous toget...Both the roses and tea set are just gorgeous together ! :) Deb @ Frugal Little Bungalowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13091419343402163298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7092223141967556234.post-6843867594259334672015-04-22T10:13:33.690-04:002015-04-22T10:13:33.690-04:00Lovely post Deborah.
