Just stopping by to say I'll not be posting for the next week or two, although I will be around to visit as I'm able. I'm hoping I will get inspired, as it seems my blogging posts have been somewhat lackluster of late.
I've done tea parties, table settings, weight loss, Project 333, going gray . . . hmmm . . . now what? More of the same? A new direction? Some new project? I'll be thinking . . .
Here is a beautiful composed salad our daughter and her fiancƩ put together for our Easter dinner.
And here is a gyro made with leftover Easter lamb and homemade tzatziki sauce.
(Just in case you wanted to see some food.)
See you all soon. xo Deborah

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and delicious looking salad. I enjoy salads with fruit added to them, actually, fruit and nuts of any kind are wonderful together.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful set of chairs you have, Deborah.
I'm sure your time away will be profitable in many ways.
You have always shared beauty here, and I'm quite sure you will continue sharing your beauty after some quiet time of thinking.
Blessings to you~~

ReplyDeleteSee you when you return.
Dearest Deborah,
ReplyDeleteLovely salad your daughter and her fiancƩ put together.
Guess I could need a break too as I am seriously trying to manage my photo album scanning. Want to get done with it once and for all. Doing the happy dance afterwards! Yesterday we saw our CPA so that work is out of the way. Always love it when spring is in full swing with so many jobs behind us.
Hugs,
Mariette
The salad looks amazing! Enjoy your break...we all need one from time to time! Happy Spring! Hugs, Diane

ReplyDeleteHey Deb, I took a long break too - and just now hoping to get back into it as time allows. You and I should probably think about getting together one of these days.
ReplyDeleteTill then, enjoy your time away. Your Easter salad looks so nutricious and delicious. I overate ham and potatoes that day big time. For shame!
Hugs. ♥

Visiting in the morning and you have me craving a gyro for breakfast :)
ReplyDeleteDeborah, I discovered your blog from Stephanie's post today! So glad to meet you! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteDeborah, I just came over from Stephanie's post. I hope you enjoy your break. In the meantime, I can catch up on your past posts.
ReplyDeleteHey, I always love looking at some good food...lol! I read about your wonderful tea party that you had with Stephanie and Debbie...how wonderful! What blessings all around for the three of you! I enjoyed reading about it on their blogs and the photos of you all in your hats were adorable. I sometimes feel like you, Deborah...what to blog about now? I hope you enjoy your break... am thinking about taking one soon myself. I have been (and will continue to be) in training for a totally new software program at work and my life is about to change drastically! Everything I have done at my work for the past 23 years will be a thing of the past and I am dreading it so. Needless to say, my mind will be consumed with everything I have to learn. I will need to do one of two things...either take a break OR I just may need to blog as an escape from it! We shall see. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time away and will be looking forward to your posts when you return! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from The Enchanted Rose. What a beautiful blog! Hope you enjoy your break. I'm thinking about taking one myself while I help my kids through the last couple months of school. ~smile~
